Project Coordinator — Kansas City, MO (onsite)

The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the scheduling, planning, and monitoring of client and agency projects and making sure that deadlines are met and we have visibility about our time resources. The ideal candidate is a warm, creative problem-solver who is meticulous about details and data-driven. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate interest in architecture and/or the built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning and management of projects for clients and studio.
Monitor communications platforms in the studio to identify new requests that need to be scheduled.
Track and report on current project deliverables/available time.
Perform additional work as needed to support the studio.
Support the team and help the firm meet deadlines.
Your skills must include:
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects
Good communication skills
A desire to grow professionally
Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com preferred)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Applicants with a degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Architecture or Industrial Design are encouraged to apply.
If you are a recent graduate without professional work experience, you must be able to demonstrate academic rigor (through courses, portfolios, or extracurricular programs).
All other candidates must have 1-3 years of post-graduation experience working in a professional environment in one or more roles that provided experience relevant to this position.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to clearly communicate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to understand and communicate the studio schedule at a big-picture level and at a detailed level.
Ability to work successfully in an environment with a variety of project types and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This job is an on-site job; candidates must be able to work remotely if weather or other circumstances require. Our offices are in the River Market neighborhood of downtown Kansas City, MO.
The salary range for this position starts at $50,000 and will be determined by the candidate’s experience level, credentials and skills.
